After the successful MARE 2020 conference we thought about how to carry out MARE next year. In the course of the Corona pandemic, we have learned to appreciate the fact that a large number of scientific lectures were offered online. We would like to follow up on this and turn MARE 2021 into a monthly lecture series where early career researchers can participate and showcase their current projects in Maritime Archaeology.
